Biography

Mr. Bornkamp began his legal career as a Law Clerk for Stewart & Stewart in Carmel, IN assisting with all stages of creditors' right litigation. Before joining Reisenfeld & Associates in August 2011, Mr. Bornkamp served as a Judicial Law Clerk for a United States Magistrate Judge in Cincinnati, OH. As a Judicial Law Clerk, Mr. Bornkamp conducted legal research and drafted orders, opinions, reports, and recommendations on a variety of legal issues including creditors' rights, employment and foreclosure. Prior to that, Mr. Bornkamp was the Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for the Dearborn and Ohio County Prosecutors Office in Indiana. As Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, he prosecuted all criminal matters including felonies, misdemeanors and traffic offenses. Mr. Bornkamp also participated in preliminary hearings, bench and jury trials, prepared legal pleadings, met with witnesses and coordinated investigations.
