Reisenfeld & Associates LPA, LLC, a legal services provider to the mortgage banking industry, recently announced the addition of Brian E. Chapman as associate counsel in the firm’s growing litigation department.

Before joining Reisenfeld & Associates in February 2011, Mr. Chapman served as an Associate Litigation Attorney with Weltman, Weinberg & Reis in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he concentrated his practice in foreclosure and litigation. While at WWR for nearly a decade, he gained tremendous experience in defense of HOEPA, TILA, RESPA, FCRA and the Ohio and Kentucky Consumer Protection Acts. Additionally, Mr. Chapman marketed services to clients and prospective clients throughout the nation.

Prior to that, Mr. Chapman managed the Cincinnati Office of Mapother & Mapother for five years where he practiced in all aspects of creditors’ rights including, foreclosures, real estate closings, bankruptcies, collections and litigation. In the early stages of his career, he focused on general practice with an emphasis on real estate law and domestic relations.

Mr. Chapman has nearly 24 years of experience in creditors’ rights law and graduated with his Juris Doctor from Salmon P. Chase. He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Kentucky.
