Firm Hosts Benefit for No Paws Left Behind

Team Reisenfeld Supports Silent Foreclosure Victims

Cincinnati, OH – Reisenfeld & Associates LPA, LLC, a legal services provider to the mortgage banking industry, is pleased to announce the firm raised $3,300 for No Paws Left Behind. No Paws Left Behind is a 501c3 non-profit organization designed to bring awareness to all communities of the silent victims of foreclosure who have no voice or rights to implement change. They are dedicated to bringing awareness and finding solutions to the growing issue of pets displaced by foreclosures.

On Saturday, October 17, Reisenfeld & Associates employees, the general public, and all friendly dog breeds and their owners were invited to attend “A Benefit in the Park” at a local private 3-acre dog park for three hours of fun off-leash playing, socializing and mingling. The event featured refreshments, door prizes, pet trick contests, a Howl-o-ween pet costume contest, a silent auction featuring several gift baskets assembled by Reisenfeld & Associates employees and other fun activities. Ashley Johnson, a local pet photographer, was also on site to capture all the fun.

Brad Reisenfeld, managing partner of the firm’s creditors’ rights division commented, “with the current economic situation our country faces, we are always looking for ways to give back to the communities we live and work in. We were very excited and honored to organize and host this event to help No Paws Left Behind raise money for the work it does in rescuing abandoned foreclosure pets across the nation. I was personally touched that we experienced office-wide support of the event,” Reisenfeld added.

“With foreclosures steadily increasing, many once-loved family pets are often deprioritized in the chain of events that unfold for the borrower,” said Cheryl Lang, founder of Houston-based No Paws Left Behind. “Though foreclosure is a profoundly devastating event for the borrower to endure, the animals that are left behind as a result suffer a great deal. No Paws Left Behind works to mitigate the suffering of these innocent pets by drawing awareness to the issue. Through the generous support of companies like Reisenfeld & Associates, we continue to save at-risk pets from abandonment.”
