Biography
Bill Purtell has over 23 years of legal experience representing the mortgage and banking industry in all facets of mortgage servicing, including origination, default, foreclosure, escrow, and REO. As a consumer finance litigator, Bill is a trusted ally and partner to his clients, having worked at AM100 national law firms as well as smaller regional firms. As the Managing Attorney of Litigation, Bill leads a team of talented attorneys who handle all manner of contested foreclosures, bankruptcies, evictions, title curative, and regulatory defense matters. Bill is licensed to practice in all states and federal courts in Ohio and Kentucky, including the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals. Bill has handled mortgage litigation cases all across the nation, from Florida to California, Texas to Minnesota, giving him a broad overview of the mortgage industry. Bill frequently lectures for clients, bar associations, and civic organizations on various foreclosure, real estate, legislative update, and loss mitigation issues.

Bill and his wife, Jessica, live in the suburbs of Northern Kentucky with their six children. Bill is overly competitive at board games, a pastime shared by his children. Bill is also an accomplished martial artist, an active member of his church, and the former chair of the advisory board for his high school.
