Biography

Before joining Reisenfeld & Associates, Mr. Lurie was the Practice Partner in charge of the Commercial Collection, Landlord-Tenant and Replevin Departments at Javitch, Block and Rathbone LLC. During his 10 plus years as the Partner in charge of those departments, they were the most profitable in the firm. For the past 20 years his practice focused on Commercial and Consumer Collection, where he practiced in all aspects of creditor’s rights, including foreclosure, litigation, mediation and arbitrations all while trying to maximize client’s returns on their outstanding receivables. Mr. Lurie is a two time President of the Northern Ohio Creditors Association. As well as being a member of the Commercial Law League and an Associate member of the Commercial Collection Agencies of America. He is a frequent lecturer on Avoiding Collections and an Adjunct Professor at the Monte Ahuja College of Business at Cleveland State University.
