Reisenfeld & Associates LPA, LLC, a legal services provider to the mortgage banking industry, recently announced the addition of Rebecca N. Algenio and Ryan F. Hemmerle.<\/p>\n
Rebecca Algenio joins the Firm as associate counsel in our litigation department. Before joining Reisenfeld & Associates, she served as an Associate Litigation Attorney with Finney, Stagnaro, Saba & Patterson Co., LPA in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she concentrated her practice in commercial litigation, real estate litigation, construction litigation and products liability. While at FSSP, she represented numerous individuals and corporate clients including real estate brokerage and salespersons, real estate developers, homebuilders, and homeowners’ associations.<\/p>\n
Prior to that, Ms. Algenio served as an Associate Attorney at Freking & Betz in Cincinnati, Ohio where she represented individuals who claimed their employer discriminated against them on the basis of their ethnicity, gender, age and\/or disability. She litigated and won cases in the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas and the United State District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.<\/p>\n
While attending law school, Ms. Algenio was a Summer Associate at Graydon Head and Ritchey LLP. Prior to that, she held a law clerk position with the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office in San Francisco, California and began her law career as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Susan J. Dlott at the U.S. District Court in Cincinnati, Ohio. Ms. Algenio graduated with her Juris Doctor from Northeastern University in 2001 after receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree from Vassar College in 1996.<\/p>\n
Ryan Hemmerle joins the Firm as associate counsel and will be playing a dual role in our bankruptcy and litigation departments. Before joining Reisenfeld & Associates, he served as an Associate Attorney with Katz, Greenberger & Norton, LLP in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, Mr. Hemmerle routinely represented creditors in State Court while focusing on civil litigation involving contract disputes, Landlord\/Tenant and Bankruptcy Law.<\/p>\n
Additionally, he served as first chair for numerous bench trials and was responsible for managing all aspects of creditors rights oriented litigation. Mr. Hemmerle also assisted his litigation department by providing support in motion practice for Real Estate litigation including arguing substantive motions in Receivership cases.<\/p>\n
While attending law school, he held a law clerk position at B. Dahlenburg Bonar, PSC in Covington, KY. Most recently, he has prepared and presented several Landlord\/Tenant seminars detailing creditors rights in the context of Bankruptcy.\u00a0Mr. Hemmerle\u00a0graduated with his Juris Doctor from Salmon P.
