Biography

Before joining Reisenfeld & Associates in April 2009, Ms. Spaner served as associate attorney for Shapiro/Lembright & Felty specializing in bankruptcy cases. Prior to that, Ms. Spaner was an in-house counsel at FN Realty, an eighty-four unit apartment complex in Willowick, Ohio with an approximate worth of three million dollars. There, she acted as in-house counsel for all general legal matters including approximately ten to fifteen evictions and the implementation of new lease provisions.Prior to that, Ms. Spaner held various associate counsel positions with various Ohio law firms handling various types of law. While attending law school, Ms. Spaner served as a law clerk for the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District where she researched and prepared memoranda on various legal topics such as tax exemption, bankruptcy, Internet & intranet policies, liquidated damages, storm water issues and community discharge. She also reviewed female and minority business enterprise applications and submitted memoranda based on qualifications.

Personal

Martha is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, but is excited about her relocation to Cincinnati. Martha and her husband have two dogs; a Giant Schnauzer, Yoffi, and a Standard Schnauzer, Schnitzel, and two cats, Dudley and Nani. They enjoy traveling and have been to Hawaii several times, Spain, the Netherlands, Israel, Canada and many more. In her spare time, Martha enjoys running on her treadmill and riding on her husband's 200 Harley-Davidson Dyna Wideglide.
